Organised by UK Barbican Centre, “Game On” exhibition will come to Taiwan from 18 Jul - 31 Oct 2009 at National Science and Technology Museum in Kaohsiung.

Game on is the first major UK exhibition to explore the vibrant history and culture of computer games. Focusing on key developments between 1962 and the present day, it takes an in-depth look at gaming’s fascinating past and limitless future.

From the colossal PDP – 1 of the early sixties to the GameCube in 2002, Game On examines the technologies that have revolutionised the games we play. With over 125 playable games including Space Invaders, Sonic the Hedgehog and Metal Gear Solid 2, and the ten most influential consoles – you can experience them all.

Game On exhibition includes 11 main areas, introducing the development of game industries from 1962 till now, game type, game marketing, game culture in USA, Europe and Japan, character & sound design, kids games, multiplayer games, and future technology.
